Creating Sustainable Design Systems with User Feedback Integration

Abstract

Design systems have been a foundation to assure consistency and efficiency in modern digital product development. However, these systems are not sustained with just static guidelines; the continuous integration of user feedback is critical to maintain their relevance and effectiveness. This manuscript discusses sustainable design systems and identifies the critical role of user feedback in creating and maintaining them. We propose a framework for integrating user feedback into design systems through an extensive literature review and statistical analysis of case studies. Our results show that a feedback-driven approach improves adaptability, improves user satisfaction, and ensures the sustainability of design systems.
