Abstract

डिजिटल प्रौद्योगिकी के विस्तार ने शिक्षा तक पहुँच की पारंपरिक अवधारणा को व्यापक बनाया है। विशेष रूप से ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में मोबाइल फोन और इंटरनेट आधारित अधिगम ऐसे माध्यम के रूप में उभरे हैं, जिनके द्वारा विद्यार्थी विद्यालय के अतिरिक्त समय में भी शैक्षिक सामग्री, वीडियो, डिजिटल पुस्तकें, अभ्यास प्रश्न तथा शिक्षक-प्रदत्त सामग्री तक पहुँच बना सकते हैं। तथापि मोबाइल उपकरण की उपलब्धता और उसका वास्तविक शैक्षिक उपयोग एक समान नहीं है। प्रस्तुत अध्ययन का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के विद्यार्थियों में मोबाइल अधिगम की स्थिति, मोबाइल आधारित शैक्षिक संसाधनों तक पहुँच तथा शैक्षिक पहुँच के साथ उसके संबंध का अध्ययन करना था। अध्ययन में ग्रामीण माध्यमिक एवं उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालयों के 360 विद्यार्थियों को सम्मिलित किया गया। आँकड़ा संग्रह के लिए मोबाइल अधिगम उपयोग तथा शैक्षिक पहुँच संबंधी संरचित मापनी का प्रयोग किया गया। अध्ययन में आवृत्ति, प्रतिशत, माध्य, मानक विचलन, स्वतंत्र नमूना t-परीक्षण तथा पियर्सन सहसंबंध का प्रयोग किया गया। परिणामों से पता चला कि 360 विद्यार्थियों में से 286 (79.4%) के घर में कम-से-कम एक स्मार्टफोन उपलब्ध था, जबकि 231 (64.2%) विद्यार्थी मोबाइल फोन का शैक्षिक उद्देश्यों के लिए नियमित उपयोग कर रहे थे। मोबाइल अधिगम उपयोग और शैक्षिक पहुँच के बीच मध्यम स्तर का धनात्मक संबंध पाया गया (r = 0.52, p < 0.001)। व्यक्तिगत स्मार्टफोन वाले विद्यार्थियों की शैक्षिक पहुँच का औसत उन विद्यार्थियों की तुलना में अधिक था जिनके पास केवल साझा पारिवारिक उपकरण उपलब्ध था। परिणाम यह संकेत देते हैं कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में मोबाइल अधिगम शैक्षिक पहुँच को विस्तृत करने की पर्याप्त क्षमता रखता है, लेकिन नेटवर्क की गुणवत्ता, डेटा लागत, उपकरण-साझाकरण, डिजिटल कौशल तथा घर के सामाजिक-आर्थिक वातावरण जैसी बाधाएँ इसके प्रभाव को सीमित करती हैं। अध्ययन निष्कर्षतः मोबाइल अधिगम को ग्रामीण शिक्षा में सहायक एवं पूरक माध्यम के रूप में विकसित करने की आवश्यकता पर बल देता है।
