Article Processing Charges
The Universal Journal of Humanities and Multi-Disciplinary Studies (UJHMDS) operates under an open-access publishing model to ensure free and unrestricted access to scholarly research worldwide.
To support the costs associated with manuscript processing, peer review management, editorial services, website maintenance, digital hosting, indexing, and long-term archiving, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.
APC Details
- Article Processing Charge: ₹ 2,124 (Indian Rupees)
- Applicable To: Accepted manuscripts only
- Submission Fee: No submission charges
- Review Fee: No peer-review charges
- Payment Timing: After final acceptance of the manuscript
The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer review process and has been formally accepted for publication.
Important Notes
- Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance of a manuscript.
- The APC has no influence on editorial or peer review decisions.
- Editorial decisions are made solely on academic merit and quality.
- APC payments are generally non-refundable once the article has been published.

Waiver and Discount Policy
UJHMDS may consider partial or full APC waivers in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Authors from economically disadvantaged regions
- Early-career researchers or students
- Special issues approved by the Editorial Board
- Invited submissions
Requests for waivers must be submitted before final acceptance and are subject to editorial evaluation and approval.
